Pyrowave wins the Best Franco-Quebec collaboration award at the 2023 Gala of the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada
In the presence of Mr. Hubert Bolduc, President of Investissement Québec, Mrs. Sophie Lagoutte, Consul General of France in Montreal and other guests of honor, Pyrowave was awarded this distinction for its partnership with Michelin.
Our collaboration with Michelin is a first industrial showcase and aims to recycle polystyrene waste in order to reintegrate the 100% traceable recycled product from Pyrowave technology in the composition of low-carbon tires, thus contributing to Michelin's sustainability objectives.
This year, as part of the Year of Franco-Quebec Innovation, the Consulate General of France in Quebec and the Ministère des Relations Internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec (MRIF) have partnered with the Chamber to offer a Gala of Recognition dedicated to all forms of innovation in both France and Quebec.
"With this project, we are achieving two important goals: reducing plastic waste and reducing the environmental footprint of tires through the integration of recycled content. We are honored by this recognition which motivates us to continue our innovation efforts in order to accelerate the circularity of plastics," said Virginie Bussières, Vice-President of Communications, Government Relations and Marketing at Pyrowave.
