Pyrowave winner of the Outreach Outside Quebec Award at the EnviroLys 2022 Gala

Pyrowave is very proud to have won this distinction, the highest environmental recognition in Quebec, as part of its partnership with Michelin.

Thanks to CETEQ for this beautiful evening inthe presence of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and other guests of honor. Nearly 500 people were present torecognize the leadership of environmental companies. Congratulations to all thefinalists and winners!

Thank you also to our Board members Marie-Pierre Donati and Guy Marleau for their presence and support during this evening!

Our collaboration with Michelin is a first industrial showcase. The plant, currently under construction, will be in operation by 2024, while a consortium has chosen the Pyrowave technology to close the loop of polystyrene recycling in France, the PS25 consortium. Precisely, we receive this distinction two years to the day after the announcement of this plant project in Europe!

Also, we have just announced the first shipment of 100% traceable recycled styrene produced by Pyrowave technology to Michelin for integration in tires.

This award comes at the right time after ten years of hard work to bring the technology to the market. We hope that therewill be similar projects in Canada very soon. Notice to all interested!

In Quebec, we can demonstrate that it is possible to make recycled materials of higher quality than virgin. And this is only the beginning!
