Pyrowave at the K-Fair in Germany

On October 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany, Pyrowave’s CEO was a panellist at the Innovative Polystyrene Recycling session at K Show, a trade fair for the worldwide plastics industry held this year on the Circular Economy – Plastics Shape the Future topic.

He conveyed this message to the 150 value chain representatives: “Like any other industrial process, it is no surprise that chemical recycling consumes energy. As such, conversion of polystyrene into styrene monomer requires energy. Meanwhile, our technology uses 15 times less energy to recycle styrene compared with making virgin styrene from crude. This is a game changer for the polymer industry.”
